 HL500 1978 Replica

This HL500 features a custom, hand-fabricated, powder-coated frame; designed after the Pro Fab Husqvarna frame, swing arm(featuring all new needle bearing and two position shock mounts for the 16.5 Ohlin's Piggyback Shocks) and exhaust.

 

All new aluminum sprockets, handlebars, levers, cables, restored YZ forks, triple tree, hubs and mounted on TT500 replica rims and stainless steel spokes accompanied with Bridgestone Battlecross tires.

 

Engine is a TT500, upgraded Wiseco Piston kit, big valve cylinder head, with dual braided oil lines and a restored aluminum fuel tank with new petcock, fuel cap, check valve and decals.

 

Brand new round-slide TM Mikuni Carburetor with K&N air filter.

 

Has a billit-milled Megacycle Cam, enhanced performance valve spring kit, NOS valve rockers and connecting rod.

 

Frame is fitted with new number plate, side covers, front fender and rear fender; replicated after the 1978 HL500. Seat foam and seat cover are fitted to a YZ seat pan base.

The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation. Ben Spies announced his retirement from motorcycle racing, as injuries cut short a once promising career for the American. Spies retires with a World Superbike title in his first and only season in the series, and three AMA Superbike Championships. “I want to thank everyone from racing organizations, factories, teams and all my fans for helping me and supporting me throughout my career,” says Spies.
